May 22, 2008 – MBRO onsite teams in Yangon has informed us that the most needed and useful items are:
- Packets of fish paste (Nga Pe Daung Htote) - Packets of fried dried fish (Nga Chaut Kyaw Htote)
- Cans of sardines (Ngar Tit Tar Buu) - Packets of instant noodles - Sarongs for men (Longyi)
- Sarongs for women (Htamain) - Water pumps

MBRO’s onsite team also recommends that rice be purchased in areas such as Shwe Kyin, Hinthada and Bassein (Pathein) due to transportation difficulties. due to transportation difficulties.
